What age group does Divine Soul Camp serve?

Divine Soul Camp is designed for children aged 10-15 with/without Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). We focus on providing a supportive and enriching summer experience for this specific age group.

We provide a specialized summer camp experience tailored to children with IEPs. Services include recreational activities (sports, arts, and outdoor exploration), social-emotional learning workshops, and individualized support aligned with campers’ educational goals. Programming is led by trained staff in special education and child development. We guarantee a safe, inclusive environment with a low staff-to-camper ratio. In the future, we plan to expand into after-school and weekend programs year-round.

Veronica Miller (President & CEO), a resident of New York City, who is looking to make a change. She is in her early 80’s and has seen a lot in life. She feels she is fortunate enough at this time in my life to give back, and would like to make an effective change in society. She is a big advocate in childcare, welfare, and education. Although her lifelong career has been in nursing, she values what children bring to this world, and realize that they are the world’s next leaders.

We partner with families by providing a camp environment that extends the individualized support children receive during the school year. Parents gain peace of mind knowing their child is in a safe, structured, and caring setting. We also offer scholarships, parent workshops, and regular communication so families feel connected, supported, and engaged in their child’s growth throughout the summer.

Unlike traditional camps, Divine Soul Camp is designed specifically with the needs of children with IEPs in mind, while remaining inclusive of all campers. We maintain small staff-to-camper ratios, employ staff trained in special education and child development, and align activities with each child’s individual goals. Our focus on inclusion, adaptive programming, and social-emotional growth ensures every camper feels valued, supported, and celebrated.
